2025 Guardian Summer Intern, Group Benefits Marketing

Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is one of the country’s leading mutual insurers, and they are seeking a Summer Intern for their Group Benefits Marketing team. This paid 10-week internship offers a hands-on learning experience in a global financial services environment, allowing interns to engage in projects that directly impact the business and network with senior leaders and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
  • Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
  • Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business
  • Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information
  • Be a self-starter – someone who enjoys 'rolling up their sleeves and getting things done', has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Qualification

Required

  • A rising senior (graduation date of December 2025- June 2026)
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Availability for the full 10 weeks of the internship program

Preferred

  • Aspirations to work in marketing or sales
  • Desire to better understand how the customer journey drives marketing strategy
  • Interest in digital marketing (developing digital advertising with a purpose of driving customer engagement, tracking customer engagement, measuring success)
