Cleveland-Cliffs is the largest flat-rolled steel producer in North America, and they are seeking a summer Accounting Intern at their Headquarters. The internship offers hands-on experience in corporate accounting, primarily assisting the corporate financial reporting team with various tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting financial statements and related disclosures including footnotes and for inclusion in Company SEC Form 10-Q filing.
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple 401K and pension plans.
Collaborate with the assessment of new GAAP and SEC guidelines.
Assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
Participate in other ad hoc projects, as requested.
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance.
Must have completed at least freshman year of study by the summer of 2025.
