The Accounting Intern will support the Finance department with cash applications, AR collections, and AP invoice processing while gaining hands-on experience and exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Assist with cash applications through internal software for Miracle Ear retail clinics
Contribute to the IDR process through reviewing purchases orders
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as but not limited to, Miracle Ear retail clinics, Accounts payable teams, and vendors
Support with bank reconciliation and conduct inquiries on any discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior graduation date between May/June 2025 - 2027
Familiarity with GAAP
Attention to detail & detail-orientated
Ability to manipulate data in excel, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP
Understanding of Accounts Payable & Receivable Invoices and Statements.
Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, etc.
Preferred
Familiarity with electronic Purchase Order system and application of invoices/lines to Purchase Order
Familiarity with Accounts Payable / Receivable accounting systems. Oracle preferred.
