InSite is a vertically integrated self storage developer, operator, and manager focused on leveraging technology to deliver the best performing assets across institutional and emerging markets. They are seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Analyst Intern to assist with the identification, analysis, and due diligence of potential acquisitions for InSite, working closely with the Acquisitions Team and Senior Management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in financial modeling
- Supporting real estate acquisitions and development team with underwriting new real estate projects
- Assist with conducting market research and analysis including market comps, supplying analysis and market share review
- Assist with special projects for Senior Management
Qualification
Required
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or other related Business majors with relevant or related fields
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial reports and accounting
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex ideas to acquisitions team
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for real estate and driving business within acquisitions
- Must be willing to travel to other company sites as necessary
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
