As an intern at James Hardie, you will gain hands-on experience in your chosen field while working closely with experienced professionals on real projects that impact the business.
Responsibilities
Work with team members on diverse projects and tasks.
Perform research and analysis to aid project objectives.
Create reports, presentations, and necessary documentation.
Engage in team meetings and share ideas.
Learn and implement industry best practices and company standards.
Assisting in building our quality management system and department controls
Documenting our operations, systems, and processes
Completing ad-hoc analysis as needed
Compiling training materials and documentation of our operations
Interviewing key stakeholders on pain points
Identifying key opportunity areas within the department
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a bachelor's program in a relevant discipline at an accredited university, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2027 (rising junior or rising senior)
Demonstrated strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks during the summer of 2025
Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location
Must be authorized to work in the US
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to make a work plan and measure progress against goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Interest in operations mapping, systems thinking, code, and/or database management are all pluses
