As a Finance Intern, you will develop corporate finance and business management knowledge through hands-on assignments, while assisting leadership in decision-making and maximizing value to government sponsors.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver necessary supporting analytics to assist Leadership in decision-making
Analyze and diagnose business drivers using various financial systems
Communicate financial results effectively with powerful visual narratives and story-telling
Develop operational and financial projections using various methods including historical trends, statistical analysis, and other predictive techniques
Perform Ad hoc analysis for internal and external customers
Learn, interpret and communicate corporate policy as related to assigned subject areas
Coordinate activities and information sharing across the Finance Organization
Qualification
Required
Must be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an accredited degree seeking program in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics or Business Administration or related
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site
Sustained excellence in academic performance
Preferred
Experience having applied Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics or Business Administration or related learning to an internship or research/lab position
Familiarity with Tableau or other similar visualization/advanced technology tools
Exhibits the characteristics of a continuous learner and problem-solver
Demonstrated ability to work across varying groups and organizational levels
Willingness to explore diverse areas within Finance
Demonstrated interest in serving the public
