MannKind Corporation focuses on the development and commercialization of innovative therapeutic products and devices to address serious unmet medical needs. The Finance Internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, month-end close activities, budgeting, and supporting financial policies.

Responsibilities

Conducting financial analysis to support decision making
Assisting in the month-end close activities and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and other internal reports
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform data analysis to identify trends and potential issues
Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and processes
Support the administration of the Finance Dashboard in Power Bl
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed/assigned

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
Must currently have a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent
Must be able to work 40 hours per week for the full 12 weeks (no vacation weeks)
Must have completed 2 years of college
At this time, we are only able to consider candidates who do not require visa sponsorship, including those with a student visa.

Preferred

Preferably within 1-2 years of graduation
Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs (Power Bl and TM1 bonus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and demonstrated learning agility
You take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them without needing constant direction.
You are open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance and grow professionally
