Aggreko provides power generation and temperature control solutions to customers, and they are seeking a Financial Accounting Intern. This role offers an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in renewable energy projects, assisting with financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial statements, and reports for multiple renewable energy projects
Assist with financial close processes, timelines, and account reconciliations specific to renewable energy developers and independent power producers
Perform data entry and intercompany accounting using Sage Intacct ERP
Assist with AP and AR reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy
Support reconciliation of bank transactions and intercompany accounts, including Aggreko ETS Energy Systems in Project accounts
Complete a monthly reconciliation of one of AETS’s high profile accounts and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting approach and key insights
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to evaluate data, create reports, and present technical insights effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for Energy transition

Bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting preferred)
Solid academic record (GPA)
