The Treasury Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship for rising college seniors, aimed at applying theoretical knowledge to real-world projects while developing essential skills and potentially leading to future career opportunities.
Responsibilities
Support the Lennar collateral programs
Assist in reporting/presentations to help obtain sufficient collateral capacity to cover company-wide needs
Oversee surety and broker rate/fee structures to minimize costs
Verify LOC billing consistent with agreements
Support efforts with respect to bond/LOC execution, distribution, and reporting
Ensure compliance with contractual and fiduciary requirements in governing legal documents
Streamline the administration of the Lennar collateral programs
Maximize utilization of the broker’s surety program / LOC credit lines
Streamline internal division and corporate policies and procedures
Address processing reporting inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Assist divisions for maximization of bond/LOC exonerations and reductions
Act as an advocate for divisions when working on issues with diverse groups within and outside Lennar to ensure business needs and production plans are met
Supporting and providing guidance to divisions on issues concerning collateral instruments
Working with various municipalities to negotiate favorable terms under improvement agreements and forms
Address and manage bond claims to minimize potential exposure and risk of loss to divisions and company
Qualification
Required
Graduating from a 4-year College or University between December 2025 and May 2026
Working towards a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar degree
Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
