The University of Wyoming is an education centre that provides a wide range of academic facilities and development. This position exists to provide financial support services as needed for the School of Energy Resources, focusing on tasks such as reconciling purchases, completing transfers, and producing financial reports.
Responsibilities
Reconcile employee procurement card purchases.
Complete interdepartmental transfers.
Initiate purchase requisitions.
Place orders.
Produce and interpret financial reports.
Assist with tracking federal grant spending.
Utilize software including Oracle, QuickBooks, ROAMWyo, and Banner.
Help train Faculty and Staff on the use of UW’s WyoCloud Financial Management system.
Other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualification
Required
Current UW student.
Working towards a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance.
Pass required background check.
Preferred
Experience working with QuickBooks and WyoCloud Financial Management system.
