WWE is a globally recognized leader in sports entertainment and is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support their finance team. The intern will assist in various accounting tasks, including journal entries, audit processes, and financial documentation.
Responsibilities
Learn and use the finance & accounting department’s primary software tools: JD Edwards (accounting system) and Blackline (account reconciliations).
Assist with the preparation of monthly journal entries, including the creation of supporting documentation.
Identify discrepancies between actual and forecasted results.
Assist with gathering supporting documentation as part of our internal and external audit processes.
Assist with researching accounting guidance and preparing accounting memos.
Learn the external audit process and compliance requirements.
Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
Willing to learn and grow.
Preferred
Strong preference for rising seniors and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university.
