Masco Corporation manufactures brand name products for the home improvement. As an Intern in the Internal Controls team, you will support internal control activities, conduct testing of internal controls, and prepare detailed reports, while also engaging in special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
Support Internal Control Activities: Assist the Corporate HQ Internal Control Manager with key duties within the self-testing program to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
Conduct Testing: Perform testing of internal controls for specific Masco Corporate HQ processes.
Prepare Reports: Create detailed reports and supporting workpapers outlining the results of internal control testing.
Coordinate Documentation: Work closely with process owners and department managers to ensure up-to-date and accurate documentation of internal control procedures.
Special Projects: Engage in special project work as needed, providing valuable support to the team.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail.
