Coinbase is a cryptocurrency exchange and wallet platform seeking interns for their Internal Audit function. The role involves supporting various audits, creating detailed work-papers, and presenting findings to leadership, all while promoting innovative ideas to enhance processes.
Responsibilities
- Promote new ideas / innovative means of executing projects and internal enhancements focused on process or technology improvements
- Facilitate discussions with process/controls owners in reviewing IA’s documentation of relevant processes
- Assess and develop recommendations regarding IA policies and procedures
- Assist the IA team with the execution of IT, finance, operational, and compliance audits
- Create accurate, logical and detailed work-papers clearly describing the work performed, testing results and conclusions for audit projects
- Develop and maintain process documentation
- Present findings and recommendations to IA leadership

Preferred
- Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Accounting/Finance, Computer Sciences, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of an internal control environment
- Knowledge of finance/banking concepts
- Crypto knowledge
- Proficient in Excel and Google Suite including Powerpoint/Slides
