Design and build data models and algorithmic systems for solving complex investment problems.
Develop algorithms to generate Bridgewater's views on markets, translate those views into portfolios, and execute trades.
Lead a team of engineers to build and maintain the investment system.
Shape investment research methods and tools to develop breakthrough insights.
Qualification
Required
Passion and knack for building data models and algorithmic systems that solve complex investment problems
Deep interest in markets, finance, and investing
Great analytical mind
Desire to work with the best people in a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
Expert in their investment domain and can hold the whole model of the investment system in their head
Designs systems that beautifully express and run our investment logic and evolves with our investment understanding
Runs and develops a team of engineers to build and maintain the investment system
High affinity for building well-engineered solutions to complex problems pertaining to economics, markets, portfolio management, and trading
Eligible to work in the United States for a minimum of 3 years from the candidate's start date

Undergraduate and graduate students
Degree in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields
