ABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries. The IS Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial modelling, reporting, and business planning while supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Preparing financial modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact on the organization.
Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Validating the accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews of exceptions.
Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations.
Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
Support and shadow IS Finance team to deliver requirement within function.
Mentoring and networking opportunities.
Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in finance, accounting, or related field in the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
