BAE Systems is an aerospace, defence, and information security company that provides advanced and technology-led solutions. The Tax and Treasury Department is seeking an intern to support day-to-day tax and treasury functions while gaining valuable skills and experience in accounting.
Responsibilities
Perform basic tax research and analysis
Assist with cash management/treasury activities
Assist with completing estimated tax calculations
Review and respond to tax notices
Reconcile tax accounts
Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualification
Required
Currently in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree or graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
Experience in using Excel
Curious, self-driven, and analytical
Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
Must be enrolled in a degree program during the timeframe of the internship. Graduates in May 2025 do not meet this requirement
Preferred
We prefer a local candidate with flexibility to work remotely a few days a week
