Schneider Electric specializes in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. They are seeking a Procurement Intern for Summer 2025 to assist with purchasing strategies, maintain databases, and support procurement projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with implementing the general Purchasing Strategy to drive cost reduction initiatives within the cluster.
Maintain purchasing database by regularly updating relevant data.
Support main functions or projects within the Procurement team.
Assist in commodity management strategy for supplier consultation, selection, negotiation, and contract management with local/specific suppliers.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (or Masters) degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
An interest in Procurement or Supply Chain
Proficiency in cross-functional team collaboration
Strong problem analysis & communication skills
Willingness to gain experience in new areas
