Dairy Farmers of America is a milk marketing cooperative owned and served by farmers across the nation. They are seeking a Summer 2025 Accounting Intern to prepare and analyze reports, resolve accounting discrepancies, and support key business performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze reports for the business unit and ensure that all business unit financial reporting is accurate according to currently accepted financial practices
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Generate and support key business performance metrics
- Perform cost accounting analysis as required
- Be a primary point of contact for site controllers and other accountants related to cost accounting
- May participate in or oversee regular inventory cycle counts
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a degree focus in Finance or Accounting
- Introductory level Accounting/Finance classes must be complete
