SiriusXM is a leading audio entertainment company in North America, seeking an Accounting intern to support the month end close process. The intern will assist with cash accounting, accruals, transaction matching, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities

Observe transaction matching in Blackline to report and analyze the fallouts on a daily basis.
Prepare month end journal entries in support of the business activity.
Provide accounting and analytical support during the month end close process.
Perform month end reconciliation of the assigned Balance sheet accounts.
Learn the use of Blackline, Alteryx and Tableau on regular Accounting and Reporting works.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point)
Must have legal right to work in the US

Preferred

Those graduating by May 2026 are preferred
Recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
Broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion
