CPC is an investment holding company focused on long-term value creation through innovation and workforce development. They are seeking Summer Interns to support the investment decision process and gain practical experience in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Excel analyses to support the investment decision process and continuous improvement.
- An opportunity to work on a project with both the investment team and Excellence Group, which focuses on operating company continuous improvement and 5 Key Battle TM support and present the output to CPC leadership and operating company management (sponsorship platform project).
- In-depth working knowledge of relevant financial concepts and theory from a real-world perspective, bridging the gap between academic coursework and practice.
- Listen in and observe a board meeting with an existing operating company.
- Establish a foundation of knowledge and experience for future employment.
Qualification
Required
- Sophomore or Junior with at least a 3.75 GPA
- Completion of 2 courses in finance, accounting, economics, or business management prior to program start
- Intellectual curiosity about business strategies and investing
- Team player mentality with a selfless work ethic and a well-rounded personality
- Superior judgment, excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Goal-oriented, demonstrating leadership attributes
- Strong presence and interpersonal skills
