Parkview Health is northeast Indiana’s largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, and they are seeking a Finance intern for the summer. The internship aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Vendor Payment Cycle within Healthcare while working on projects related to Reimbursement, Grants, Corporate Accounting, and Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities
- Get an introduction to Reimbursement, Grants, Corporate Accounting, and Accounts Payable.
- Work with Finance VP and other leaders but also work independently on projects with AP, Procurement, etc.
- Understand the Vendor Payment Cycle within Healthcare.
- Work with PaymentWorks on vendor management and audit.
- Work with Corporate Accounting on projects utilizing Alteryx to improve efficiencies within our system and process.
- Meet with leaders to review policies and procedures.
- Refresh Finance Sharepoint pages.
Qualification
Required
- Current undergraduate college student or graduate college student
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation
- Skillsets in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and strong communication skills
Preferred
- Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship
