AtkinsRéalis is a global firm offering engineering, project management, and design solutions across infrastructure and energy sectors. They are seeking a Data Analyst Intern for Summer 2025 to assist with data processing, analytics, and visualization to support client and business needs.
Responsibilities
Assist with data processing, analytics and visualization to support client and business needs.
Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data for analysis.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.
Utilize machine learning techniques to build predictive models and assess their performance.
Collaborate with team members on data strategy, feature engineering, and model optimization.
Qualification
Required
Some experience in SQL, Python, R, Power BI or other analytical tools.
Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Must have completed 30-45 credit hours towards a related degree from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2025).
Strong understanding of data wrangling, statistical methods, and visualization techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms.
Excellent communication and story telling skills to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
No licenses or certifications required at this level.
