They are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Intern to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, including database design and data visualization, while contributing to the Internal Audit department's functions.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Create and manage data pipelines to streamline data collection, processing, and storage.
Develop data visualizations to communicate insights effectively using tools like Tableau.
Assist with continuous infrastructure improvements to department reporting.
Work with APIs to retrieve and publish data to/from various sources.
Collaborate with IA team members to better understand pain points and develop solutions to address those pain points.
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
Proficiency with Python including Jupyter/Databricks Notebooks, standard analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy), API connectivity, version control (Azure DevOps), etc.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Exposure to cloud computing concepts and tools such as Databricks, blob storage, and centralized credential management.
Preferred
Currently pursuing a degree in a business-oriented major with a STEM focus, or a STEM major with a business focus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Previous experience with data analytics projects either through coursework or other internships is a plus.
