The Data Reporting Analyst role involves data analysis, research support, and collaboration with various teams to ensure data quality, create visualizations, and develop comprehensive reports that communicate insights effectively.
Responsibilities
Clean and manage rich datasets to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Perform data entry, verification, and validation tasks to maintain dataset integrity.
Organize data in Google Sheets for easy access and analysis.
Use Google Looker Studio (or similar tools) to create visualizations that effectively communicate data insights.
Perform in-depth analysis using statistical software to uncover trends and patterns.
Transform raw data into actionable insights, highlighting key findings relevant to our readership and clients.
Develop comprehensive reports that tell a compelling story with data.
Write narratives that are straightforward, strategic, and actionable, tailored to our clients' needs.
Create visual and written summaries that present data in an accessible and engaging manner.
Produce educational outcome metric reports in Google Slides using analysis from Google Sheets.
Work closely with the Client Services, Publication, and Medical Education teams to align data analysis with research objectives.
Ensure that insights derived from data enhance the value of our services and contribute to informed decision-making.
Communicate findings and collaborate with team members to integrate data insights into broader research projects.
Qualification
Required
Experience in data analysis, preferably within the market research field.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Google Looker Studio or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and actionable reports.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data management and analysis.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to research development.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle complex research projects from start to finish.
Familiarity with survey design and execution.
Preferred
Previous experience in the eyecare or medical education industry.
Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools.
Experience with advanced statistical analysis techniques.
Knowledge of market research methodologies and best practices.
Project management skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
