Johnson & Johnson develops medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods. The Enterprise Quality Fall Co-op position offers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in analyzing business data, supporting decision-making processes, and contributing to data-driven strategies across various Enterprise Quality Functions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze end-to-end business processes and translate needs into digital solutions by building out product backlogs in the form of user stories.
  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis from various sources such as databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.
  • Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, correlations, and insights in business data.
  • Develop visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate data findings to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in analyzing data to support business decisions and pivotal initiatives.
  • Work closely with various departments, including QA-Ops, JJRC, finance and operations to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Qualification

Required

  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship - Required.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in science, communications, regulatory compliance, quality, finance, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or technology related field.
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools: Python, R, or SQL.
  • Ability to clearly present data findings and interpretations to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Ability to break down challenging problems into manageable components and derive actionable insights.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data distributions.
  • Ability to work through challenges logically and deliver solutions efficiently.
  • By start date, student must be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above.
  • Master’s students must have earned undergraduate degree on or after May 2025.
  • Ability to provide their own transportation to this location and to/from work every day.
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours a week) for the whole term. Planned dates of July-December.
