Wendel is an architecture, engineering, energy efficiency, and construction management firm that delivers customized solutions and turnkey projects in innovative ways. They are seeking a GIS-focused internship where the intern will perform analytical, technical, and mapping tasks while gaining hands-on experience in GIS processes within a consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a GIS Manager, performing analytical, technical, and mapping tasks as assigned.
- Perform GPS data collection.
- Capture relevant data from multiple online resources and contact data suppliers.
- Generate and update various maps and databases utilizing Esri's ArcGIS platforms.
- Convert, import, and export various file types into GIS.
Qualification
Required
- Currently pursuing a GIS-related degree at an accredited institution.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency using Esri’s ArcGIS suite of desktop software and applications, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, etc., Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.
