Parkview Health is northeast Indiana’s largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, and they are seeking an Informatics Research Summer Non-Clinical Intern. The role involves assisting with various research tasks, managing data collection, and engaging in the dissemination of findings while collaborating with research team members.
Responsibilities
Implements study procedures, such as daily research study tasks (e.g., participant tracking, management, and cleaning of incoming data, etc.), and ensures data quality and confidentiality.
Collects data through approved study procedures, library research, structured interviews, or another project specific methodology.
When appropriate, interprets, synthesizes, and analyzes data.
Meets with study team on regular basis to maintain ongoing communication about project tasks.
Maintains high quality work.
When appropriate, contributes to external dissemination (reports, articles, blogs, etc.).
Provides regular reports on the status of research activities.
Qualification
Required
Must be a current undergraduate college student.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
GPA of 3.0 or above.
Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation.
Preferred
Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship.
