Baylor College of Medicine is a health sciences university located in Houston, Texas, and they are seeking an intern to gain practical work experience while providing administrative or laboratory support. The intern will receive training on machine learning algorithms, implementing them, and fitting them on datasets in cluster computers.
Responsibilities
- The PI will identify the specific datasets and machine learning algorithms, the intern will implement the algorithms in Python/R and fit them on the datasets in our cluster computers.
Qualification
Required
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
Preferred
- Strong programming and computer science skills.
