As an intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects that advance the company's mission while gaining real-world experience in clinical data science and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and validate predictive models using machine learning techniques to optimize various aspects of clinical trial operations, such as patient recruitment, site selection, and trial timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, IT, and Clinical Development, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions that improve clinical trial efficiency and operations.
Showcase your work with a final presentation (PPT) near the conclusion of your internship.
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University.
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad or a Graduate or Doctoral Student
Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
Preferred
Preferred Degree qualification: Graduate – PhD
Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Python and SQL
Familiarity with clinical trial processes
Experience or coursework in predictive modeling and forecasting techniques
Proficiency in data science best practices with demonstrated project experience applying best practices
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Ability to identify issues and seek solutions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
