Foot Locker is a retailer of athletic footwear and apparel, and they are seeking an intern for their Global Technology Solutions division. The role involves gaining hands-on experience in data governance, supporting data discovery and quality programs, and collaborating with various teams to enhance data management.
Responsibilities
Become proficient in utilizing BigID for Data discovery and Microsoft Purview within the first 2 weeks, including the ability to effectively scan, classify, and map data across various sources.
Work with Data Teams and other areas within the organization to identify additional use cases for Data discovery.
Support Data stewardship and Data Quality program by identifying and collaborating with Data stewards.
Support Data Loss Prevention program.
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program or recently graduated.
GPA of 3.00 or better.
Familiarity with basic concepts around databases, programming languages, data governance and privacy.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
A genuine interest in technology, innovation, and sneakers.
