Philips is a health technology company focused on improving healthcare access. They are offering a 3-month internship for individuals pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees, where interns will work on enhancing procurement data and supporting category managers.
Responsibilities
Participate in projects to cleanse and enhance procurement and supplier data across the logistics category. Identify and define new process improvement opportunities to enhance data integrity.
Coordinate the flow of data enrichment and corrections and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and Philips business units.
Conduct in-depth analysis to support category managers in rate cards, lane rates, lead-time, cost governance. Recommend opportunities for improving procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Support RF(x) processes with research, market intelligence, data preparation, requirements documentation and contract creation / approval.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Statistics.
Experience with Business and Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Migration, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration, and Metadata Management Services.
Familiarity with enterprise applications supporting supply chain, including ERP, Advanced Planning, PLM, Data Visualization, and Warehouse Management.
Background experience in SharePoint, Microsoft Power BI, Trello, and Tableau.
Solid communication skills to translate user/business requirements into reports and data models.
