ASML is a manufacturer of chip-making equipment, and they are seeking an intern for their Reliability Engineering team. The intern will participate in a project to improve or verify the reliability of ASML products through data analysis and programming.
Responsibilities
This internship is geared towards Reliability data analysis and programming.
Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers.
Analyze manufacturing, performance, and reliability data from labs and field.
The goal of the internship is for you to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide your knowledge in solving real world problems in a team environment.
Intern will be required to document and present their findings as well as make an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or above in Mathematics or Computer Science.
High proficiency in Python is a must
Experience in data science and analyses.
Experience in off-the-shelf database.
Familiar with MS Excel.
Understanding and ability to explain basic reliability concepts
Ability to translate requirements, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems and solutions through written and graphical formats
Proficient in MS Office Applications specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Possess strong ownership characteristics and commitment to achieving results on time
Excellent written and oral communicative skills
Be a demonstrated 'team player' with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills
Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative
Be willing to be 'wrong' at times and be open to the ideas of others
