Elanco is a global leader in animal health dedicated to innovation and delivering products and services for companion and food animals. The IT Data Analyst Intern will collaborate with the data operations team, providing analytical solutions and working on a specific project to be presented at the end of the internship.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide analytical solutions at Elanco
- Network with Elanco employees and demonstrate leadership capabilities
- Interns will be responsible for a specific project to be completed within the 12-week timeframe
- All interns are required to present their projects to a large group at the end of the 12-week period
- Work within Elanco data operations team on real-life project/solution
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in data sciences related degree program e.g.: Data Sciences, Computer Science, Informatics or related majors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent phone, speaking, and presentation skills
- Individuals with integrity, excellence, and respect for people
- Individuals who want to make a difference in someone else’s life
- Individuals who are willing to gather and assess data to solve complex problems
Preferred
- Have an interest in data analytics, information science or animal health
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Have a willingness to gather and assess data to solve complex problems
- Strong sense of initiative and learning agility
- Proven to be self-motivated, with demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism
- Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision
