Sportsman's Warehouse is an outdoor sporting goods retailer with over 100 locations across the US. They are seeking a motivated IT/Data Analytics Intern for Summer 2025 to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and IT infrastructure while collaborating with professionals in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for the merchandising or marketing teams.
Support the development and maintenance of analytics tools and processes.
Participate in the verification and maintenance of data integrity.
Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Utilize IT tools to assist in data storage, security, and reporting.
Work with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Snowflake.
Support IT infrastructure by ensuring data flows are efficient and reliable.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, or Power BI.
Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
Previous experience with IT or analytics projects is a plus.
