Huhtamäki is a global manufacturer of consumer and specialty packaging. The Data Analyst Intern will support the IT Department by assisting in data collection, processing, and analysis tasks, providing a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in data analytics.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and requirements.
Help ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing quality checks.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data-related projects.
Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data analytics.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the IT Manager or Senior Data Analyst.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with at least one data analysis tool (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data analytics.
Preferred
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
