Johnson & Johnson develops medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods. They are seeking highly motivated sophomores, juniors, and rising seniors for their Enterprise Quality Co-Op and Summer Internship program, where interns will gain hands-on experience in analyzing business data and supporting decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Understand and analyze end-to-end business processes and translate needs into digital solutions by building out product backlogs in the form of user stories.
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis from various sources such as databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.
Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, correlations, and insights in business data.
Develop visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate data findings to key stakeholders.
Assist in analyzing data to support business decisions and pivotal initiatives.
Work closely with various departments, including QA-Ops, JJRC, finance and operations to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Qualification
Required
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship - Required.
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in science, communications, regulatory compliance, quality, finance, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or technology related field.
Basic proficiency in data analysis tools: Python, R, or SQL.
Ability to clearly present data findings and interpretations to both technical and non-technical partners.
Ability to break down challenging problems into manageable components and derive actionable insights.
Understanding of statistical concepts such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data distributions.
Ability to work through challenges logically and deliver solutions efficiently.
By start date, student must be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above.
Master’s students must have earned undergraduate degree on or after May 2024.
Ability to provide their own transportation to this location and to/from work every day.
Ability to work full time (40 hours a week) for the whole term. Planned dates of May 19 - August 15, 2025.
Commit to a May 2025 internship start date.
