They are seeking a Load Research and Analysis Intern to assist in developing reports and analyzing load research data using various statistical and algorithmic techniques.
Responsibilities
Assist in development of meaningful reports for internal and external customers.
Discover insight from load research data using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program for economics, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science, energy and environmental sciences, or similar program
Current Student, sophomore status (as of January 2025) or higher
Possess basic computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel and Word)
Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
3.0 GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) or higher
Completed 2 years of undergraduate coursework
Fluency with Python, R or similar coding languages
Data Exploration skills: ability to look through data, assess data quality and draw conclusions from data
Exposure to and understand of foundational statistical concepts
