Caesars Entertainment is a leading casino and hotel company that is seeking an Operations Analytics Intern to support their Data Analytics department. The role involves conducting data entry, compiling datasets, and assisting in strategic projects to improve operational insights.
Responsibilities
Conduct objective, rigorous data entry and report distribution to help the Analyst team improve data integrity
Follow established processes to gather and compile vast datasets into usable data. Communicate with partners and analysts concisely in verbal and written formats
Play an active role in the development, roll-out, and post-launch evaluation of strategic projects
Maintain data integrity for Analysts to support operating departments to provide senior leaders visibility into trends and business performance drivers
Use technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workplace, Tableau, Google Big Query, SQL, Python) to assist in analytics and reporting tools
Qualification
Required
In progress for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Program at an accredited University
Experience in data entry, data compilation using Excel and or Google Workplace, Tableau, Google Big Query, SQL, or Python
Strength in critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication. Comfort in communicating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to quickly learn relevant database applications and software, as well as industry-specific terminology and dynamics
Demonstrated interest in a career in data- and analytics-driven business
Desire to understand a broad range of operations within the casino and hospitality industry
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity
Preferred
Exposure to statistical analysis or optimization analytics
