Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Visualization: Harness the power of big data by transforming it into actionable insights. Develop dynamic dashboards that catalyze continuous improvement and inform strategic data-driven decisions
Innovation in AI & Automation: Research, identify and implement innovative use cases that propel the frontiers of artificial intelligence, automation, and cutting-edge data analytics, driving technological advancement.
Lean & Six Sigma Project Leadership: Support operations and manufacturing initiatives, employing lean and six sigma frameworks to elevate business performance and deliver unparalleled value to ABB customers.
Strategic Problem-Solving: Exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving of current business challenges. Deconstruct and streamline complex processes to achieve sustainable, simplified outcomes.
Agile Systems Enhancement: Collaborate with IS and business teams to improve systems, leveraging agile methodologies to expedite development and testing, ensuring swift, incremental improvements.
Technical Documentation & Training: Develop technical guides and conduct training sessions for SAP and pivotal operations digital tools, with a focus on detail and ease of user understanding.
Mastery of Digital Tools: Master and deploy tools within the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power Apps, PowerBI, and Power Automate) to revolutionize process efficiency and information accessibility, boosting business performance.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Engage in collaboration with multiple business units, integrating efforts to amplify value creation across the enterprise, anchored by the ABB value formula.
Knowledge Sharing: Act as a conduit for best practices, sharing exemplary methods and insights throughout all ABB NEMA to foster a culture of excellence and shared learning.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management/Technology, or related fields in the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
Preferred
Preferred knowledge of data structures and programming concepts – Python, SQL, DAX, Microsoft Excel formulas & charts
