They are seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Research Associate to join their research team focusing on understanding inequities in women’s health and identifying policy changes to promote justice.
Responsibilities
Designing and conducting research studies
Conducting literature reviews and data analyses
Presenting results at conferences
Publishing in peer-reviewed journals
Assisting with grant proposals
Take a leadership role on at least one project
Develop an NIH proposal
Qualification
Required
A doctoral degree or equivalent in epidemiology, health services research, or a related field.
Demonstrated scientific writing ability
Proficiency in data management and analysis data of large administrative data and survey data using either SAS, R, or Stata.
Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues
Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
Subject-matter knowledge in one or more of the following: perinatal epidemiology, social epidemiology, health services research, health economics, health policy
Experience with quasi-experimental analysis, such as difference-in-difference models
