They are seeking an intern to participate in the SAP Internship Experience Program, which focuses on cloud analytics and business strategy, involving data analysis, market research, and strategic insights to optimize cloud service management.
Responsibilities
Cloud Performance Monitoring & Data Analytics
Develop SQL-driven financial models and predictive analytics dashboards to track cloud service metrics
Leverage Python, R, and Excel to conduct economic forecasting and identify trends in cloud service efficiency
Use Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud to visualize key insights related to SLA compliance, system uptime, and process optimization
Identify anomalies and performance inefficiencies through advanced data modeling
Conduct market research and financial analysis to improve CAS’s business strategy
Optimize financial and operational processes by integrating best practices from economic modeling and cloud analytics
Work with SAP’s CAS governance team to enhance application management processes and process automation initiatives
Analyze customer engagement metrics and service performance data to improve cloud adoption strategies
Research competitor cloud application strategies to assess SLA offerings, downtime policies, and pricing models
Conduct economic and technological comparisons between SAP’s CAS solutions and industry benchmarks
Generate reports and presentations outlining best practices from top competitors and their potential implications for SAP
Work closely with CAS leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud services
Utilize data science methodologies to forecast service disruptions and optimize upgrade timelines
Present findings in executive-level reports with data-backed recommendations to improve SAP’s cloud operations
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a B.S. in Economics & Informatics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/boot camp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
Proficient in SQL, Python, R, and Excel for financial and operational data analysis
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud for data visualization and reporting
Understanding of cloud computing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and IT service management
Background in financial modeling, market research, and process optimization
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
