7-Eleven is a convenience retailer store and a sub-organization of Seven & I Holding, seeking interns for their Summer Internship program. The Supply Chain Data Scientist Intern will collect data and perform statistical analysis to optimize supply chain costs and revenue, while supporting department leadership in analyzing productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Creating supply chain reporting to help drive efficiency.
Documenting supply chain processes and best practices.
Researching new technologies and other solutions that can help improve accuracy and efficiency of the demand chain network.
Creating tracking/reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and other tools as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/ 4yr degree, junior or graduate standing
Self-starter
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Strong problem solving and statistics skills
Advanced MS Excel skills to include PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Data Tables, etc.
