Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a highly motivated Co-Op / Intern to join their Business Technology department, where the individual will play a critical role in the assessment, design, and rollout of digital tools and processes to support their Electrical Products Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Learn the Siemens EP Digital Transformation processes and Tools
Partner with our Business Technology and Customer Teams to assess business requirements
Develop new analytics capabilities using tools like Tableau, KNIME, Mendix and Siemens GPT
Train and support the user community, following the successful rollout of tools / analytics
Support our Siemens EP Business Technology Process Experts:
Partner with the internal customers within the EP Business Unit to support and optimize their business processes and technology
Define Epics, Features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria as a part of the Scaled Agile Process
Engage with EP Systems Business stakeholders, Global Counterparts, and IT Teams in support of the EP Business
Partner closely with IT resources to address process improvement opportunities, solve problems and prevent recurrence
Utilize data analytics to monitor process effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Current student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Similar area of study.
Proficient with MS 365 Suite (e.g. Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel)
Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to learn new technologies and processes in a short timeframe
Aptitude for problem analysis and resolution.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure culture
Enthusiastic and eager to take responsibility and initiative
Previous experience with Agile / Scaled Agile
The Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, JSM)
Tableau, Knime, Mendix, GPT
SAP Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, SAP SD, PP, Variant Configuration
Prior working experience in Low Voltage Electrical Manufacturing Industry
