GE HealthCare provides a wide range of medical technologies and services to healthcare providers and researchers, and they are seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to work on global and regional product marketing campaigns for medical equipment used during surgery. The intern will be involved in project work, developing presentations, analyzing data, and participating in early talent events.
Responsibilities
Works on projects often requiring independent decision-making. These projects are normally scoped to last between 2 and 6 months in duration.
Develops PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.
May be asked to analyze data with excel or various other analysis tools
May be asked to take on certain aspects of a full time job within the function the intern is studying.
May be asked to participate in early talent events, seminars or trainings.
Performing assignments where trust and accuracy are required.
Qualification
Required
A full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, business, or another related technical discipline.
At least 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, business, or another related technical discipline.
A GPA of at least 3.0
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams
Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks
Must be willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, UT
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
