Perpay is a financial technology startup dedicated to building inclusive financial products. The Merchandising Internship offers students the opportunity to gain real work experience while working on projects that impact customer engagement and product management.
Responsibilities
- Learn about merchandising and product assortment refinement.
- Work alongside the merchandising team on exciting projects.
- Engage in demand/sales generation and product margin management.
- Own vendor relationships and ensure appropriate pricing and promotion of categories.
- Experience assortment management and vendor communications.
- Build cross-functional relationships.
- Meet with various business owners for personal and professional development.
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor’s/ Master’s with an expected graduation date between winter 2025 – summer 2026
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Good time management
- Critical thinking skills
Preferred
- Prior work experience in retail is preferred but not required
- Enrolled in a Master’s Degree or advanced technical degree
- Previous work experience in a technical field
