Saint-Gobain is a manufacturer and distributor of building materials for the construction and industrial markets. They are seeking an SEO & Digital Marketing Intern to improve website SEO and support various digital marketing initiatives. The role involves optimizing online presence, conducting keyword research, and developing content for social networks.
Responsibilities
Contributing to the development and deployment of the digital marketing plan
Conducting keyword research and creating a targeted keyword portfolio, recommending & implementing SEO improvements for 5 websites, including content creation such as blog posts, page revisions, custom images, etc
Monitoring impact of SEO improvements through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush, reporting on analytics, and adjusting SEO plan as needed based on trends
Research AI's impact on SEO to help enhance our strategy and stay ahead of industry trends
Developing content for social networks (LinkedIn, Youtube) and the website in collaboration with the business team
Ensuring the monitoring and analysis of the performance of the digital marketing actions
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma - Required
Bachelor’s Degree - Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar - Working towards
Strong understanding of SEO principles and the ability to apply them to our websites - Required
Must have high energy, creativity, confidence, passion for the job, decisive eye for detail, exceptional teamwork and communication skills, and an eagerness and drive to learn - Required
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills - Required
Preferred
Knowledge of Drupal CMS Platform, Google Analytics, SEMRush, or other SEO tools. Familiarity with HTML is a strong plus
Proficient in design tools such as Canva and Adobe as well as the Microsoft Platform (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Teams etc)
Experience working for manufacturer or B2B distribution model a strong plus
