Portillo’s has been serving unrivaled Chicago street food since 1963, and they are seeking a Social Media Intern to help create and share content that brings the brand to life. The intern will gain hands-on marketing experience by working closely with the Digital Marketing and Ever Creative Team, focusing on community engagement, content creation, and social media analytics.
Responsibilities
Support community management by engaging with followers and responding to comments.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and Ever Creative Team.
Develop and curate brand-aligned content for Portillo’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, with a focus on filming and editing video content.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to internal partners.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including product launches, events, and partnerships.
Help manage the content calendar and ensure timely posting of content.
Support influencer partnerships through outreach, coordination, and content review.
Conceptualize engaging digital assets for social media, including photography, videography, graphics, memes.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
Previous internship or experience managing personal or brand social media accounts, working in digital marketing, and/or executing digital content creation.
A creative spirit with an organized mindset.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively in order to solve challenges.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine love for Portillo’s.
Preferred
Social media or Digital Marketing certifications (HubSpot, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
