Dairy Farmers of America is a milk marketing cooperative owned and served by farmers across the nation. They are seeking a Summer 2025 Communications Intern to coordinate projects for the communications teams and support writing needs for various internal communications. The intern will also conduct research, assist team members, and provide editing support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute projects related to the farmer and employee communications teams
- Provide support for writing needs for the internal communications team, including employee intranet, farmer newsletters, emails and more
- Conduct research and gather information for content creation related to current and future communications projects, helping to develop communication strategies that resonate with target audiences
- Assist team members with project needs, as well as independently manage their own projects throughout the duration of the internship
- Provide editing support and proofreading
Qualification
Required
- Quick to learn in a high-paced environment
- Can adapt to working with different people on multiple projects at the same time
Preferred
- AP style knowledge preferred, or at minimum, comfortable in writing short-form and long-form articles
- Junior or senior level in a communications or business type degree preferred
