Snap-on is a global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, diagnostics, equipment, software and service. The Innovation Intern will support Snap-on’s innovation efforts by conducting research, facilitating customer connection initiatives, and managing certain outreach projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products.
Develop research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders from across Snap-on’s portfolio of subsidiaries.
Collaborate with product managers to translate insights into actionable next steps.
Engage with end-users via visits, surveys, and phone calls to aid in ongoing research at Snap-on.
Review progress and coordinate with the appropriate internal team on an ongoing basis to maintain essential communication.
Assist with day-to-day operations within Innovation Works. Examples include frequent shipping, maintaining the presentability of various the Innovation Works space, recruiting for customer connection events via email, text, or calls.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Candidate must be enrolled in their junior or senior year in college.
Ability to synthesize and present research findings in a clear, actionable format.

Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
