Rheem Manufacturing is a manufacturer of heating, cooling, water heating, pool and spa heating, and commercial refrigeration systems. The Product Management Intern will assist the product management team with projects related to new product development, marketing, and sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful product development.
Responsibilities
Support development, documentation, technical literature (specifications, parts, accessories) and commercialization plans to support the launch of new product development.
Participate in weekly projects meetings for projects/products
Perform competitive benchmarking, through web and print data collection and database creation for product categories.
Research main competitors to build Market Intelligence Database
Research and maintain our new database that will be used for Product Hub, New Product Development, Products Gaps and Sales Tools.
Research on controls research
Product development process (PDP) data analysis
Support Product Excellence Panel activities
Potential travel to Fort Smith to support New Product Introduction builds, engineering and manufacturing activities
Support CTO Implementation
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Interest or experience in product marketing/product design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Preferred
Experience/interest with HVACR related products or industry
